Greg Jessen – Professional Photographer & Entrepreneur
Greg Jessen, a native of Powers Lake, North Dakota (population 550), has built a distinguished career spanning over three decades as a professional photographer and business owner. After graduating from the University of North Dakota in 1987, he relocated to Arizona, where he combined his passion for photography and sports into a thriving career.
Greg has served as the official team photographer for five professional sports teams across four different sports, including 15 years as an NFL photographer for the Arizona Cardinals. His extensive experience covering thousands of events has led him to work with some of the most prestigious sporting and entertainment events in the world, including multiple Super Bowls, national championships, and international soccer tournaments. His work has also extended into the realm of celebrity and political photography, capturing iconic figures such as U.S. Presidents, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali, and Michael Jordan.
In 1994, Greg founded SplitSecond Collectibles, a design and manufacturing company that produced and sold over ten million trading cards across the U.S. and Canada. Identifying an untapped market within minor league hockey and baseball, he successfully built a brand that worked closely with leagues and players’ associations. The company was later sold in 2001.
Recognizing the evolving needs of the events industry, Greg expanded his business offerings beyond photography. Today, his company provides a comprehensive suite of event services, including event planning, DJ and MC services, videography, and green-screen photo booths. This expansion allows clients to receive high-quality, all-inclusive event solutions tailored to their needs.
While Jessen Associates remains firmly rooted in Arizona, Greg and his team frequently work with clients across the country, regularly managing events in Las Vegas, Southern California, and beyond. His dedication to excellence, innovation, and professionalism continues to set a high standard in the industry.
